Hi Marilyn, I think it's humorous, it was a dream, I had a series of them in the 80's and 90's. Anyway, this one was Bishop's in a hurry they dropped something and the priests were trying to give it to them. It was the imagery that made me want to paint it, the colors and stormy sky, black & white floor. That's the story. I always got mixed reviews on my surrealistic stuff, some thought they were humorous and some found them depressing. Funny.
